Equine Law

Almost half a million people in Florida are involved in the horse business in some capacity, annually generating over 5 billion dollars to the Florida economy. David has been at the forefront when it comes to providing legal services to this industry for over 30 years. He regularly advises clients on the appropriate organizational structure for their equine operations whether they are involved in thoroughbred racing, show horses, polo, hunter, dressage, or pleasure horses.

 

Through his nationally recognized equine law practice, David has served as Florida counsel for The Breeders' Cup, Ltd. and Fasig-Tipton, Inc., along with representing numerous industry-leading racing stables, breeding farms, training centers, and jockeys. Outside of his law practice, David has been an active owner, breeder, and thoroughbred farm owner in both Florida and New York.
